PJ s 4 Xmas is a non profit organization that was founded in 2009, by two Ogdensburg area girls, Camille and Abby Marshall ages 13 & 10. The girls liked receiving brand new pajamas from their Mom and Dad on Christmas Eve. The girls realizing that today’s economy not every child would be as fortunate, they wanted to make a difference. PJs 4 Xmas a Non Profit Organization from Kids for Kids was born.
In October of 2009; an 1000 pair goal was set. By the end of December 2009; 754 pairs were collected along with $1,118.00.
December 2010 the girls were back with the 1000 pair goal and successfully achieved 1,205 pj total along with $3,300.00 In two years Camille & Abby’s little organization clothed approximately 2,000 children in St Lawrence County.
The PJs 4 Xmas helps out 500+ families, this would include 1000 children, during the holiday season.
We are currently collecting donations to achieve our new 1500 pair goal, and hoping to double the amount of our drop box locations for Christmas 2011. If you are interested in a drop box, penny jug, or making a donation. Please feel free to contact us at the number below.
